A Letter For Mr. President

Dear Mr. President,

Hello sir! How are you? Are you doing fine? I hope you do. I know that being the President of one country has a lot of duties and responsibilities, especially during this pandemic.

On 2016 election, I was not able to vote, because I'm just 12 years old back then. But I have rooted for you because I've heard all the things you do to make Davao City a better place. And I also thought that you would be different from the past leaders we had. And I'm so glad when I saw the results of the election on the TV, I'm glad that people choose you to become the President.

As years passed, I have seen your actions for every problem that our country has faced. But when this COVID-19 starts to spread in our country, many people expected that you would be on top of everything. I got a bit disappointed for the decisions and actions you have done. I don't know what makes you do your action and decisions. Must it be your age? Or is it your health?

After I saw every decision and action you do, I still continue to believe and respect you because as a Filipinos we believe that we are called to honor our leaders. I just hope that you still remember the promises that you said when you were still campaigning. All I can say to you Mr. President, is that don't forget to pray to God. Don't hesitate to ask for His help and guidance. Also to offer every decision you make and He will lead you the way, because with Him nothing could go wrong.

 One of your citizens,

  Khrissie Gallardo
